MGT® LVT Self Adhesive is a peel-and-stick vinyl floor with a pre-applied adhesive backing. The adhesive is protected by a release film that is removed during installation, exposing a pressure-sensitive layer that bonds to the subfloor. No separate glue, no mixing, and no special tools are required — the plank is simply positioned and pressed into place. Because installation is so direct, self-adhesive flooring is faster than most other flooring systems. A single installer can cover a small room in a few hours without waiting for adhesive to cure. There is no downtime between installation and use, which makes this format practical for small-scale renovations, rental apartments, and projects with tight deadlines where the floor needs to be walkable immediately. The pre-applied adhesive is designed for interior use on clean, flat, dry surfaces. It works best on smooth subfloors, such as existing hard floors, plywood, or concrete that has fully cured. Performance depends on surface preparation — dust, moisture, or uneven areas can reduce adhesion — so proper subfloor preparation is recommended for best results.
